Question 1: Qantas management and Qantas pilots (represented by the Australian and International Pilots Association) are currently involved in an industrial dispute. Based only on what you‘ve heard and read to date, who do you support?
Question 2: Qantas management is considering removing some Qantas flying from bases in Australia and basing it in Asia to cut costs. Current Qantas pilots will most likely be excluded from operating these flights, which will be operated by other pilots on Asian terms and conditions. Which option best sums up your opinion of this plan?
Question 3: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: I feel safer flying Qantas, because I know there is an Australian Qantas pilot at the controls.

Question 1: In recent years, to cut costs, Qantas management has moved to replace Australian Qantas pilots on certain routes, with non-Qantas pilots employed under foreign conditions. When you buy a ticket on a Qantas plane, does it matter to you if the pilot is a Qantas pilot, employed under Australian conditions?
